The online training takes approximately 15 minutes. If you prefer an in-person option or don鈥檛 have access to a computer, you can attend one of the following sessions:

  • Tuesday, April 8
    • 10鈥10:30 a.m.
    • Marietta Campus: J.M. Wilson Student Center, Room A216
  • Tuesday, April 15
    • 10鈥10:30 a.m.
    • 食色视频 Campus: Clendenin Building, Room CL1009

In addition, UITS is happy to facilitate departmental sessions by request. These sessions can be conducted via Microsoft Teams or in person. Please submit all requests by April 7 via the 食色视频 IT Service Desk: service@kennesaw.edu.

Friendly reminder: This training is mandatory for all faculty, staff, and student assistants and must be completed by 11:59 p.m. on April 21. Please note that if you do not complete this training by that deadline, your 食色视频 NetID account will be disabled until you fulfill this requirement.

Please Note: The Training Dashboard lists a deadline of May 1 because it reflects one minute past the University System of Georgia (USG) official deadline of 11:59 p.m. on April 30. However, 食色视频 has set a firm internal deadline of April 21. Faculty and staff who do not complete the training by April 21 will have their 食色视频 NetID account disabled until the requirement is met.

Whether you鈥檙e figuring out where to print assignments, how to connect to campus Wi-Fi, or which software is free for you to use, this guide has you covered.

Power Query in Excel

Friday, Apr. 11, 2鈥3 p.m. via Teams

Power Query is a data transformation and data preparation engine. Learn how to import or connect to external data, and then shape that data (i.e., remove a column, change a data type, or merge tables) in ways that meet your needs. Then, you can load your query into Excel to create charts and reports. Join this workshop and optimize your data workflow!
