The clinic provided a unique opportunity for individuals of all mobility levels to enhance their confidence, improve movement, and connect with a supportive community. Hosted by ʳɫÊÓÆµ's Master of Science in Prosthetics and Orthotics (MSPO) program, the event featured cutting-edge prosthetic technology, inspiring collaboration, and powerful stories of resilience, including those from 2024 Paris Olympian and Paralympic gold medalist Jarryd Wallace, a participant and patient model.
Community Partnership at Its Best
The clinic exemplified the value of community partnerships. ʳɫÊÓÆµ students, faculty, and staff worked alongside Ottobock, a global prosthetic and orthotic innovation leader, to create an unforgettable experience for participants. Special thanks were extended to ʳɫÊÓÆµ Athletics and the ʳɫÊÓÆµ Track Team for generously sharing their time and space to ensure the event's success.

A Hands-On Learning Experience
ʳɫÊÓÆµ student-athlete Natalie Cummings also shared, "The Ottobock Full Circle Mobility Clinic deepened my appreciation for innovative design and technology that empowers individuals to regain confidence and achieve what once seemed impossible. Witnessing the collaboration between clinicians and patients reinforced my passion for helping people improve their quality of life through movement."
"This was a great opportunity for ʳɫÊÓÆµ State and ʳɫÊÓÆµ Athletics to connect with our community. ʳɫÊÓÆµ's track and field program enjoyed this day for Ottobock to participate on the track and saw the value in uniting with our community," said Travis Glasgow, ʳɫÊÓÆµ Athletics' Senior Associate Athletic Director for Facilities and Events Management.
The clinic also aligned with Georgia's "So Every Body Can Move" initiative, amplifying the message of inclusivity and the importance of accessible mobility solutions.
