Thesis Students Receive URCA Funding to Attend ARCC2019

The Department of Architecture would like to congratulate three of our amazing thesis students, Dyesha Holmes, Corey Jones, and Brittany Adkins, for receiving an Undergraduate Research Creative Activities (URCA) funding award to attend the (ARCC2019) in Toronto, Canada (43% acceptance rate).

  • Brittany Akins, Sensorial Architecture: Design for Well-Being (advisor: Tim Frank)
  • Dyesha Holmes, Reframing Urban Redevelopment Via Women Empowerment: Sustaining Existing Community in the West End Neighborhood (advisor: Min茅 Hashas-Degertekin)
  • Corey Jones, Mixed Reality鈥檚 Ability To Craft And Establish An Experience Of Space (advisor: Bronne Dytoc)

  • Joshua Robinson, Community-based Healthcare (advisor: Pegah Zamani)
  • Jeremy Bowen, Skater Conscious: Extending Urban Architecture (advisor: Jeffrey Collins)
