CACM Advising: Advising Process
What is Academic Advising?
Academic advising is a collaborative relationship between a student and an academic
advisor within a respectful environment that values the uniqueness and diversity of
our students, faculty, and staff. The purpose of this relationship is to guide you
in the decision-making process throughout your academic journey.
The College of Architecture and Construction Management (CACM) advisors help students
navigate through selecting your architecture major or construction management major,
degree requirements, course schedules, college and university policies, and campus
resources. Advising is a student-centered, on-going process that adapts with you as
you gain knowledge and earn your degree!
You create the path to your career. Advising is here to help you move forward, clear obstacles, and connect you with resources to increase your success.
