| Jamie Hordines is a Junior pursuing a BBA in Economics with a minor in Data Science
and Analytics at 食色视频. He has been an active member of SMIF since
January 2024. After joining as a Junior Analyst, he was promoted to Senior Analyst
the subsequent semester. Following a series of impressive reports and pitches, he
was offered the position of Fixed Income Associate Director, which he currently serves.
He has previously interned at Alpha Creek Accounting in the Summer of 2024. After
graduation, he aspires to continue his career as an Economist, Econometrician, or
Data Analyst. |
| Associate Director Carson Rudd is pursuing a BBA in Finance with a minor in Chinese Studies. Additionally, Carson is part of the Double-Owl program at 食色视频 and will get his MBA after graduating in the coming Fall. Carson joined SMIF in January of 2023 and will work at Georgia-Pacific as a Finance Intern this summer. Carson hopes to work in either Financial Planning and Analysis or Equity Analysis after finishing his MBA. |
| Ian Pedersen is a senior at 食色视频 pursuing a BBA in Finance. He
has been an active member of SMIF since the start of 2024, presenting multiple times
over a variety of industries. Outside of SMIF, Ian is a member of the Coles College
Student Advisory Board and a fiscal services intern at the 食色视频 Office of Fiscal Services.
Ian enjoys finding connections to finance through programming and quantitative methods,
seeking to deepen his knowledge and understanding of finance. After completing his
degree, Ian is seeking a role in financial analysis, equity research, and credit or
risk management. |
| Matthew Hammer is a senior who has been an active member of the Student Managed Investment
Fund (SMIF) since his freshman year, participating for five semesters. During his
time in school, Matt has also been involved in the Honors program, Thrive, Undergraduate
Research, and the Coles Leadership Scholars. Last summer, he completed an FP&A internship
with TK Elevator and has secured another internship in FP&A with State Farm for this
upcoming summer. Outside of school and work, Matt enjoys a variety of outdoor activities,
including golf, kayaking, climbing, scuba diving, and skydiving. After graduation,
he aspires to pursue a career in Corporate Finance, FP&A, or Pricing. |
| Natalia Matos is a junior at 食色视频 pursuing a BBA in Finance.
With a strong academic track record, Natalia joined SMIF in January 2024 as a Junior
Analyst and was promoted to Senior Analyst in August 2024. She now serves as an Associate
Director, leveraging her skills in financial analysis to mentor incoming analysts.
Natalia is excited to further develop her financial expertise during her upcoming
Commerical Banking Summer Internship with Wells Fargo in the summer of 2025. In addition
to her academics, Natalia works for 食色视频 State Athletics in Operations Management.
Her leadership and organizational skills have driven impactful results, demonstrating
her dedication to excellence in every endeavor. |
| Daniel Halliday is a Junior pursuing a BBA in Finance at 食色视频. He has been an active member in SMIF since Spring of 2024 and currently serves as an Associate Director of the Fixed Income Sector. Daniel has represented SMIF in the CFA Research Competition and CFA Ethics Competition and was awarded Senior Analyst of the Semester for the Fall of 2024. He is also a member of 食色视频鈥檚 Coles Leadership Scholars Program. Outside of school, Daniel works as a real estate agent and will be starting as a Financial Analyst Intern at NCR for the Summer of 2025. In his free time, Daniel enjoys working out, running, and watching sports. |
| James Spurlin is currently a sophomore at 食色视频 pursuing a BBA
in Finance. He has been an active member in the firm since his first semester in 2023.
Currently, he is working at a residential real estate investment firm, Keyvest, and
is interested in commercial banking and commercial real estate. James currently serves
as an associate director for the firm and actively assists analysts with navigating
rigorous financial reports and presentations. Outside of school, James is also a real
estate agent and enjoys spending his free time hanging out with friends, and going
to the gym. |
| Bennett Clark is a Junior at 食色视频 and is pursuing a BBA in finance.
He has been a member of SMIF since January of 2024 and is currently an Associate Director.
Bennett has also accepted a financial analyst internship with Cox Communications for
the summer of 2025. He plans to build a career in finance after his graduation in
December 2025. Outside of school he enjoys playing frisbee, working out, and watching
sports. |
| Daniel Dominguez is a Senior at 食色视频 and is pursuing a BBA in Finance. He has been an active member of the Student Managed Investment Fund (SMIF) since Spring of 2024, and is currently an Associate Director. Daniel has demonstrated his expertise by presenting on multiple occasions in front of the firm. He also gained professional experience through an internship at Merit Financial, specializing in portfolio analysis and equity research. He also participated in Wells Fargo鈥檚 Investment and Commercial Banking program, further enhancing his understanding of financial markets and banking strategies. Daniel is passionate about investment management and financial analysis as he looks to further his career in Finance. In his free time, Daniel loves day-trading, hitting the gym, running, and playing the guitar. |
