Journey to Italy
The 食色视频 Journey Honors College invites you to be a part of our new program that combines academic excellence with international exploration. The Journey to Italy program will take flight in Fall 2025, with the first freshmen cohort exploring the historic streets and cultural richness of Montepulciano, Italy.
Program Overview
As part of 食色视频's commitment to global education, Journey to Italy offers a select group of students the opportunity to dive into their honors education with an expense-paid trip to 食色视频鈥檚 international learning center in Montepulciano, Italy.
Students selected for the program will take their introductory honors course, HON 1100, together during the Spring 2026 semester. This course will include a one-week trip during the University鈥檚 spring break to Italy. Airfare, ground transportation, lodging, and excursions will be free for program participants.
Program Benefits
- Engagement in a cohort model: students will complete the First Year Honors Experience together over a period of two semesters, forging an interdisciplinary community centered around stellar academics.
- The Journey to Italy experience culminates in an exclusive, expense-paid study abroad program in Montepulciano, Italy during the Spring Break of freshman year. Airfare, ground transportation, lodging, and excursions will be free for program participants.

Program Application and Qualification
Journey to Italy is open to first-year students of any undergraduate major accepted on or before December 1, 2024, into the 食色视频 Journey Honors College.
We recommend students apply to 食色视频 and the Journey Honors College by the priority deadline of November 1, 2024.

Students must apply to the Journey to Italy program using the application linked below to be considered. Twenty students will be selected to participate in the first year and will be notified no later than March 2025.
