    食色视频 State will host the 2018 FutureX Live conference, the largest augmented reality, virtual reality and mixed reality conference in the Southeast, on Nov. 16 at the University鈥檚 Marietta Campus. 食色视频 is the first university to host the conference. Sponsored by Moxie, a modern marketing solutions company, and 食色视频鈥檚 Joel A. Katz Music Entertainment and Business program (MEBUS), FutureX spotlights the creative possibilities in the music, film, television and gaming industries. This year鈥檚 theme, 鈥淭he Future of Entertainment,鈥 offers a day-long program including student-driven technology showcases, discussions by industry leaders, and an augmented-reality concert by top recording artist Leah Culver.

The grant, part of State Farm鈥檚 Systems Priority School 2018 cohort, will support the College鈥檚 Readiness, Awareness and Diversity in Computing program, introduces students to the applicability of computing and the career options it can provide.

    食色视频 State undergrads showcasing research at national conference

    食色视频 is being represented by nearly 100 students this week at the 2018 National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR) in Edmond, Oklahoma. More than 4,000 students from 400 colleges and universities are presenting their research April 4-7 at the prestigious annual conference. With 93 students attending, 食色视频 State's number of participants is second only to the host institution, the University of Central Oklahoma.
