Political science student honored by NAACP for campus leadership

Considering her dedication to social justice, inclusion and community engagement, it鈥檚 no surprise that 食色视频 student Madison Potts views her national award from the NAACP as a team accomplishment. Potts, a senior majoring in political science, was honored as the Youth Activist of the Year as part of the 52nd annual NAACP Image Awards. The president of 食色视频 State鈥檚 NAACP student chapter, Potts was recognized for her commitment to voter education and registration.

COVID-19 Documentation Project Now Available

One year ago this month, the lives of the entire 食色视频 community changed rapidly as the university was forced to close its doors due to COVID-19. In April 2020, the 食色视频 Archives and Special Collections began collecting stories of how our University community was experiencing the pandemic. Students, faculty and staff submitted personal narratives, photographs, video, and classwork over the following month documenting their own experiences in the early days of the virus.
