UITS introduces academic resource for ʳɫÊÓƵ students

University Information Technology Services (UITS) has opened a state-of-the art computer lab in ʳɫÊÓƵ’s Academic Building, providing students access to high-end computers and software as well as workspace for group projects.

The lab, located on the lower level of the Academic Building, includes 18 computers equipped with software specific to majors offered on the University’s Marietta Campus, a writable table and wall for group work, checkouts for audio and visual equipment and charging stations for laptops and phones. The lab is open to all students regardless of major on a first-come, first-served basis.

Similar to the UITS computer lab in the Burruss Building on the ʳɫÊÓƵ Campus, the space will be staffed with trained lab assistants who can help students with issues related to NetID, Duo and campus WiFi access. The lab is open Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
